About Margrit Lehmann-Beltran
I founded mel:B Marketing in 2007, using my creative, technical and administrative/management skills to help small businesses with their communications. I also work as a freelancer for marketing agencies, often serving as a project manager, designer and strategist.
Before going solo, I worked for over 5 years at Smith Asbury, Inc., a marketing agency with clients from Pasadena and Los Angeles, to Delaware and Jakarta.
Some notable website development & communications projects and clients:
- Mary Ann Lutz – planning, designing and developing the campaign website for Mary Ann’s successful bid to become mayor of Monrovia

I have a specialized marketing degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. After a brief stint in retail sales, I pursued advertising and print design, and managed the design department for non-profit, US Center for World Mission. I also was able to put together my love of books and concern for global issues, working for the publishing arm of World Vision International headquartered in Monrovia, California.
I am a member of the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce, a board member of Eagle Rock Covenant Church, and former board member of the ROCK Community Center.
