About Margrit Lehmann-Beltran

About Margrit

I founded mel:B Marketing in 2007, to use my creative, technical and administrative/management skills to help small businesses with their communications. I also often serve as a project manager, strategist, designer and editor for website and communications projects for Smith Asbury, Inc., a marketing agency where I previously worked for over 5 years.

I am committed to client satisfaction and attention to detail. I understand the relationships of communications, design, programming and search engine optimization in website development, seeking to not only meet a client’s stated needs, but also to provide valuable advice. I am proficient with many software applications including Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver, and website coding with HTML and CSS. I am also familiar with PHP and JavaScript/jQuery. I have developed websites using several content management systems, including Drupal, Joomla, and WordPress.

I have a specialized marketing degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. After a brief stint in retail sales, I pursued advertising and print design, and managed the design department for non-profit, US Center for World Mission in Pasadena, California. I was also able to put together my love of books and concern for global issues while working for the publishing arm of World Vision International headquartered in Monrovia, California.

mel:B Marketing is a member of the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce.
